New Video Shows Dublin Footballers Saying Yes To Marriage Equality

A lot of well-known Irish figures have been very vocal about their support of the ‘YES Equality’ campaign over the past few months – with everyone from Mary McAleese to Rob Kearney, and Enda Kenny to Hozier getting behind the campaign.

This hilarious new video from Ben & Jerry’s shows a whole rake of other Irish people joining forces to say yes. Keep an eye out for a particularly brilliant performance from actor Emmet Kirwan, as well as appearances from members of Dublin’s GAA team Michael Darragh MacAuley and Rory O’Carroll, and models Holly Carpenter and Thalia Heffernan.

The video is part of Ben & Jerry’s YEStival, which is a four-stop nationwide festival, to spread awareness of the ‘YES Equality’ campaign and to give scoops of ice-cream to fans of the campaign.
