We all have firm seasonal favourites – that one movie that instantly gives you that Christmas feeling from your head right down to your toes. For some it’s Love Actually, for others it’s Home Alone…
However, I’m a firm believer that you have to watch umpteen movies to ensure that festive sparkle gets right into your heart and stays there for as long as possible.
With that in mind, here’s a list of Christmas movies on Netflix to watch on this dreary day (maybe call the mates over and make an afternoon of it) and over the next week…

1. A Very Murray Christmas
Bill Murray and Christmas? These are a few of my favourite things.
2. Home Alone 1, 2 and 3
It’s nearly Christmas, and sleep is for the weak, so be a rebel in true Kevin-style and stay up all night for a Home Alone marathon.
3. Beethoven’s Christmas Adventure
Because dogs + Christmas = ALL the warm fuzzies.
4. Happy Christmas
Lena Dunham, Anna Kendrick AND Melanie Lynskey in a Christmas movie that isn’t twee? We’re in.
5. It’s A Wonderful Life
Grab the Kleenex and have an ol’ weep at this classic.
