A Tipperary woman has decided that she's going to make special hampers for the homeless this Christmas and hand-deliver them, but she needs your help.
With a homeless crisis currently gripping the nation, Therese Cullen decided she'd "make a real difference to those with so little this Christmas" by putting together these festive gift baskets containing small gifts and edible treats.
The food items will include truffles, biscuit cake, miniature Christmas tree biscuits, and the small gifts will include thick socks and nice toiletries; items that would be greatly appreciated by the homeless community this holiday season.
Really can't believe the extent of people's generosity from family, friends and people across the country! News is spreading fast with over 100 likes in a few hours [...] Thanks again guys, we're going to do something really special for people who need it most this Christmas!

Therese told The Irish Times that she's not looking for monetary sponsorship to create her hampers as she knows it's an expensive time for everyone, she said,
Instead, what I’m asking for is anything you could put aside to help, from hand cream to chocolate. Any bits and pieces – items which you would be willing to put aside to help those who don’t have the luxury of indulging in those little pleasures we do – would be greatly appreciated.
There will be collection boxes in shops around the country where you can easily donate items, as well as a pick-up service provided in Dublin.
