Looking for a restaurant that's new, different and chocked to the brim with premium Irish beef? Then let us present you with Boeuf.
Having opened just two weeks ago, this is Dublin's newest steak house. Everything about the place screams beef, from its butcher shop decor to Hugh Heifer as its mascot, it's as if they've constructed a shrine to steak... which isn't far from the truth.
Boeuf aims to serve up "prime Irish steaks with a French flare", with all of their steaks being 100% Irish beef that's been hip hung for a minimum of 28 days. When a steak has been cooked to your preference, its served on a seasoned cast-iron plate with sautéed French onion crouton.
You can even get your steak smoked at the table...
But perhaps the most unique thing about Boeuf is the sheer amount of extras that are on offer.
How many, you ask? Too many to name, my friend, but we'll give you the summary.
First, you've got the intriguingly titled "Enhancements" portion of the menu, where you load up your steak. You've got seven types of topping (including Sautéed Prawns, Pan Fried Foie Gras or Black Pudding Dijon Toast), six types of fromage (including Grilled Raclette, Melted Camembert, Crumbled Blue Cheese) and five types of crust (including Crispy Bacon & Blue Cheese, Pesto & Parmesan or English Mustard & Crumbs).
Then you've got all the sides. There are eight types of mash potato (including Red Wine Gravy, Raclette & Onion or Chorizo & Paprika), three types of croquettes (Classic, Blue Cheese or Chorizo & Pesto), five types of frites (including Onion Rings, Pommes Frites or Grilled Raclette Home Frites), four types of gratin (Raclette, Pesto & Parmesan, Crumbled Blue Cheese, Garlic & Camembert), four types of sautéed dish (Mushroom, French Beans, Wilted Spinach or Creamed Spinach) and four types of salad (Rustic Leaves, Tomato & Pesto, Spinach & Blue Cheese or Avocado Leaves).
And if that still isn't enough for you, there's also no less than 20 sauces to make your meal even more interesting: Herb Brandy Butter, Pickled Chilli Butter, Blue Cheese Peppercorn, Boeuf Mayonnaisse, Heff's Hot Steak Sauce and many more.
How's that for choice?
Now we could keep droning on about the place, but a picture really is worth a thousand words, so have a look at what they're serving up...
