Wands at the ready everyone – the ultimate weekend for Harry Potter-heads is coming to Dublin in August and it looks magical.
LeakyCon 2017 has chosen Dublin as its wizarding base this year for its annual HP event:
“Join Harry Potter fans from across the globe as they gather in Dublin, Ireland for a weekend-long celebration of The Boy Who Lived and the extraordinary impact his story has had on both the Wizarding and Muggle worlds.”
From exciting panels to themed events and performances as you “journey back to Hogwarts for the start of a new term.”
There will be creators and stars (oooh stars!) from Harry Potter talking about their experiences of bringing magic to the big screen, amazing merch to buy and Wizard Rock bands.
Being a part of the Wizarding World is finally happening.
Who cares if your Hogwarts acceptance letter is a few years late eh? This weekend is still pretty much all our childhood dreams come true.
Oh, and dressing up as your fave character is essential. Now’s your chance to finally make that mandrake costume you’ve been planning for years.
The event is on in CityWest hotel, and you can get tickets here, which range from a €47 day pass to a €329 full weekend ‘Marauder’ pass, which includes exclusive merchandise and more “magical perks”.
