8 Dublin businesses raising funds and organising drop off points for Ukraine

Businesses across the county have been organising fundraisers and doubling up as drop-off centres to collect supplies for those fleeing Ukraine.

If you’re looking to get involved, we’ve compiled a list of collection points and fundraisers currently on the go, and will add more to the list as we hear about them.

Fundraisers

McNally Family Farm

In order to raise funds for the Irish Red Cross Ukraine Crisis Appeal, Mcnally Family Farm are holding a raffle for this hamper filled with products and homewares from Irish businesses, along with a €50 voucher. The raffle will close on Monday, 7th March and you can get tickets HERE.

Cloud Picker

Cloud Picker are raffling off a selection of coffee equipment, including a professional machine worth €8000 with funds going directly towards UNICEF. They’ve also initiated a call out to Ukrainian coffee professionals – Cloud Picker will pay for 2 plane tickets from anywhere in Poland to Dublin, employ them in their cafe or roastery and do everything they can to help with arrangements. Allta

Over the weekend, Allta donated 100% of their profits to the Ukrainian Embassy in Dublin and Unicef and over the coming weeks will be highlighting some of the amazing talent coming out of Kyiv in Glovebox, as well as organising further fundraising events.

Collection Points

Baa Baa Cafe

The Chapelizod cafe will be acting as a drop off point for goods to aid those fleeing Ukraine until this Thursday, 3rd March. Items requested include personal hygiene products, toothbrushes, soaps, nappies, antiseptic cream, bandages, warm clothing, blankets, towels, batteries and footwear.

Rascals Brewing Co.

The Inchicore bar and brewery are supporting a special delivery of care products headed overland to Ukrainians in Poland. On Tuesday morning, a truck will collect from Rascals HQ so if you’re in the area today, you’re encouraged to drop off blankets, sleeping bags, torches, crayons, colouring books, dry food and batteries. If possible please pack them in a cardboard box, with the contents identified.

Dublin Ink

Dublin Ink in Temple Bar will act as a drop off point for medical supplies and dried goods in particular until this Tuesday, 1st March. Details of specific items requested are HERE. Dublin Ink have also offered employment to any Ukrainian tattoo artists currently looking for work.

The Art of Coffee

The Art of Coffee have published a list of urgently needed medical supplies (details in post below) and all of their Dublin cafes are currently acting as drop off points.

Happy Days

The fashion rental service in Leopardstown will act as a drop off point for supplies being transported to Ukrainians in Poland at the end of the week. A list of items required is available in the post below.
