Looking for an alternative night out this weekend? There are some fab cocktail classes in Dublin.

Cocktail classes are becoming a fairly popular way people are adding a bit of excitement to their night out with pals. And sure look, it’s never a bad thing when you know how to whip together some deliciously fabulous cocktails.

So, here are eight cocktail classes in Dublin you and your mates can try your hand at.

1. 37 Dawson Street

Plus, your class will include three cocktails each.

2. Vintage Cocktail Club

Enjoy a fun (and informative) cocktail making class in your own private cocktail bar at Vintage Cocktail Club. You’ll learn how to make some classic and modern cocktails and have a laugh with your mates at the same time.

The classes cater for groups of six to twelve people and are available Monday to Thursday from 1pm until 7:30pm, and on Fridays and Saturdays until 5pm.

Vintage Cocktail Club has a range of different prices and packages, depending on how many cocktails you want per person.

3. Buskers

Set in the heart of Temple Bar, Buskers offers a fabulous cocktail making experience. First, you receive a shot on arrival to kick things off. Then, you select a cocktail from their exclusive menu and their expert mixologists will whip it up for you. After that, you get to hop behind the bar and have a go yourself.

Classes take place every day from 12pm to 8pm and last between an hour and 90 minutes and costs €26 per person.

Or, if you opt to have finger food as well, it costs €34 per person.

Orrrrr, there is also the option to add a three-course meal to your cocktail making experience, which costs €58 per person.

4. Opium

Opium has become one of the chicest venues in Dublin since it was done up, and it’s a great spot to learn how to make some super stylish cocktails with their expert mixologists.

You’ll learn the basics of crafting the perfect cocktail during a 90-minute, hands-on masterclass and learn a bit about the history of cocktail making before a tutorial and demonstration on how to make three tasty cocktails.

For groups of more than eight people, classes start at €25 per person for one hour and €30 per person for 90 minutes and can be booked here.

7. The Blind Pig

The Blind Pig on Suffolk Street has two different cocktail making classes: their team-building masterclass and their monthly cocktail class.

Their team-building masterclass is ideal for corporate parties. Guests (or should I say students) will receive a cocktail on arrival and will then be shown various techniques and learn tips and tricks about things like flavour combinations.

Meanwhile, The Blind Pig also hosts monthly cocktail classes which are open to the public, where you’ll have the chance to learn how to make two cocktails for €35 per person.

You can find out more about cocktail classes at The Blind Pig here.
