Tell Us The Worst Scrape You’ve Ever Got Into While Travelling, And Win A Kickass Holiday!

aidan

So we had just about the most fun of all time with last month’s flatsharing competition – the stories were absolutely unreal, and the winner who submitted this story is now enjoying a month’s free rent.

So now, we want to go one better – and offer up an absolutely kick-ass prize to see you through the autumn months.

We want to give you:

  • 7 night’s accommodation for 2 people in the Surf Lisbon Surf House
  • Breakfast included
  • Flights to Lisbon for two people from Aer Lingus
  • Return Airport Transfers
  • Five days of surf lessons/guiding including wetsuit and board

Srsly?

Yup. Srsly. It’s all thanks to surfholidays.com, who provided this all to us free of cost – and that’s no small deal, given this is worth between €1,500 and €2,000. So massive shout out both to them and Aer Lingus.

We don’t need to tell you how incredible Lisbon is as a city – but as a surf venue, it’s almost unparalleled in Europe. There are eight different surf beaches within 8kms, with a cracking mix of beginner waves and expert waves. And just 10 to 30 minutes’ drive away, you’ve got another three excellent surf towns: Ericeira, Cascais and Costa do Caprica

Srsly.

How to win?

Let’s have a little bit of fun. You guys delighted in telling us your worst flatsharing stories last month – and we seriously delighted in reading them! – so let’s try get some more laughs out of you funny feckers.

We want you to tell us: What’s the worst scrape you’ve ever gotten into while travelling?

It can be about your companions, your location, your finances, or about travel arrangements gone horrifically awry – and it can be funny, terrifying or just plain bizarre. What’s important is that it makes for a good story… even if you needed a few years to see the entertaining side!

Fill it out via the form below before 10am next Monday, August 24, and we’ll stick up a shortlist that same day.

Good luck!
