And here’s five places you can give it a go in Dublin this Christmas!

1. iSkate @ The RDS

From Thursday, December 15 to Sunday, January 8 iSkate at Winter Funderland is on in The RDS. 

Adults and teen ticket prices from €13, child tickets from €12 and family tickets available from €45.

2. Swords On Ice

Located on the Malahide Road just outside of the Pav Shopping Centre.

3. Christmas World @ CityWest 

Christmas World in the CityWest Convention Centre offers skating, Santa visits and funfair rides.

4. Blanchardstown

Ice, ice, baby. 

Located just beside Blanch Shopping Centre, this skating rink goes on for miles.

Open 5 days a week, Dundrum’s ice rink is lookin’ well this year.

Prices vary depending on peak times. Adults from €12, kids from €11 and students from a tenner – time dependant.
