7 New Food Spots To Check Out In Dublin This Week

One of our favourite things about Dublin is that is is constantly supplying us with brand new cafés, restaurants and bars to check out. 

From fine dining to a cosy new local, it’s hard to keep up with all the new openings around this fair city of our.

Well, worry not! Because we are happy to do the hard work for you.

Here is our round-up of the latest places you need to sink your teeth into…

1. The Stone Leaf

This gastro eatery located on Lower Leeson Street is complete with an outdoor terrace and a cocktail menu that is to die for. It is ideal for anything from meetings to parties and everything in-between!

2. Lemuel’s

This lounge bar just across the road from the National Concert Hall specialises in afternoon tea and cocktails.

The interior has a very lavish finish to it. Simply stunning.

3. Fishbone

Fishbone is Dublin’s newest seafood bar and is aptly located along the seafront in Clontarf. The interior is bright and welcoming and the whole restaurant has a very nice friendly feel to it.

4. Thundercat Alley/Gutterball

Picture the interior of an 80s bowling alley with rubber ducks stuck to the ceiling and graffiti on the walls and you have Thundercat Alley. Located in Smithfield, it is yet another fab spot for some original house cocktails. 

They also serve meatball hoagies (subs) and coffee if it’s not quite alcohol o’ clock yet.

5. Paws @ Ardgillan

Here at Lovin Dublin we believe you should treat your doggos to some tasty grub every now and again and we have just found the perfect place for it!

Ardgillan Castle in Balbriggan is a dog-friendly café and is surrounded by some stunning scenery perfect for the pooches.

Bring your best friend for a stroll and then relax and have a cuppa afterwards!

6. The Rag Trader

Named in honour of its location on Drury Street, The Rag Trader is a stout and whiskey bar with a very rustic feel to it.

It serves fresh seafood and even hosts whiskey tasting classes. Be sure to check it out if you’re in the area!

7. Currabinny

Not yet a café, Currabinny is a food company by William Murray and James Kavanagh. They cater events and appear at the occasion market too.

Their cuisine is focused around full flavours and seasonal ingredients.
