Lunch time – the time of day where we can celebrate that we’ve made it halfway through the day.
Rejoice!
So, to celebrate, we’re off in search of a tasty lunch – hopefully, one of the below will satisfy your hunger.
1. Sambo – Juniors, Bath Avenue
The best sambos in Dublin? We often think so.
They are literally the sandwhich masters of the Southside.
2. Rice bowl/ramen – Science Gallery Cafe, Pearse Street/Westland Row
We adore this lil gem tucked away – like huge, huge fans.
From rice bowls:
To their homemade ‘n’ delish ramen:
3. Rarebit – Five Points, Harold’s Cross
Mightn’t be the first place you think of when planning lunch, but an unreal menu if you’re hankering after something brunch-y.
Go for the rarebit and thank us later.
4. Ramen – Yumo, Aungier Street
Cheap, hearty, filling and totally yum(o).
You can get lunch on the super cheap here, and you’ll want seconds, and probably thirds.

5. Sambo/salad – The Punnet, Mount Street
They’ll put literally anything into a salad or wrap for you – with the freshest and tastiest ingredients imaginable.
Since moving into our new offices we’ve been frequenting The Punnet weekly. So good.
Trust us, if you’re on a health binge, you wanna go here.
6. Udon noodle soup – Japanese Kitchen, Poolbeg Street
This is one of my favourite places to eat in all of Dublin.
The staff are so friendly and fun, the food is super cheap but such good quality with the perfect sized portions.
Loooove the udon noodle soup – €7.50 and you’ll be perfectly full after. Yum, yum, yum.

7. Sambo, The Fat Fox, Camden Row
Last, but not least, The Fat Fox.
Just about everything they serve is heavenly – from sausage rolls and dirty sambos.
Yes, you’ll feel guilty af afterwards. But it will be TOTALLY worth it.
