The city is currently empty, leaving the unlucky ticketless sods among us with serious doses of FOMO, rage, envy, bitterness, anger, and whatever intense negative emotion you're having yourself.
HOWEVER. Every cloud, they say, has a silver lining – and for those of us who are manning the fort and keeping the city safe for the next few days, we're facing into a weekend where the normally jam-packed hotspots of the city centre are *gasp* perfectly accessible.
So here are 10 places you need to get to and enjoy this weekend... while you can.
Will this place even be open? Will they hoist it on to the back of a truck and drive it to Stradbally, as (kinda) pictured below?
We're not sure, to be honest. But if it does stay put in Dublin, we'd be surprised if there's a single soul left there – think the streets of Dublin during Italia '90 matches.
Same story as above. With an overlapping demographic to the Shaw, the regulars in this establishment will have all flown southwest for the weekend – so you have an excellent chance of walking up and down the stairs without turning sideways.
Ahahahahahahahahahahaha.
Just kidding. Sorry.
Usually this place is wedged to the point where you wander in, appreciate the tune that's playing, realise there's neither standing nor sitting space, check the booths which have all been occupied since 3pm, then give up and go across the road to The Hairy Lemon, justifying it on the basis that "we can at least here ourselves think in this place".
This week, however, the place is yours to do with as you please. And if you're really lucky, you might even get your hands on a board game... or a BOOTH!
A stripped-back food menu and a simple but brilliant cocktail selection? Ah now. That's just asking for trouble on a weekend like this.
It will be business as usual in Ranelagh for the most part, as Smyth's and McSorley's do a roaring trade for those who think an 'electric picnic' involves eating sandwiches in a substation.
Take a seat, folks.
You might – might – get a seat outside this Sunday.

Thankfully regulars of this haunt won't have to miss out as they head towards EP – since they play the music so ridiculously loud, you'll be able to hear it all the way from Stradbally.
And space.
Not a pub, we accept... but what will become of the #brunchofchampions when all the #champions are in a different county? And that's to say nothing of its sister, Taco Taco...
Table for 100 please
One of the first craft beer pubs in Dublin, this place would lose its crowd to Electric Picnic before Electric Picnic was even invented. Head here for lovely snugs, a cracking beer selection and traditional Irish grub served with a modern twist that St Patrick himself would approve of.
