A 22-year-old American woman was attacked and robbed in Dalkey this morning.
The incident took place on Killiney Road around 5.30am when the tourist was walking to a bus with two other women, according to TheJournal.ie.
Two men confronted the woman and stole her handbag. The victim sustained minor injuries during the struggle and was later treated at St Vincent’s Hospital.
One of the attackers was described as wearing a white hoody and being of average height and build.
The investigation is ongoing.
