The Friday rush is well and truly underway. And the rain is adding to delays throughout the city.
And as eager as we all are to get home – we will all be avoiding these areas like the plague.
Traffic:
- The M50 southbound at Junction 5 Finglas – it’s super heavy from the M1/M50 Interchange to J6 Blanchardstown. And it looks like it won’t be moving for a while.

- Gardiner Street, Beresford Place and Abbey Street are also bedlam due to a set of traffic lights being out of action.

- And a collision inbound on N4 Lucan Road between Junction 4 Newcastle and Junction 3 Lucan has created chaos also. This road is definitely to be avoided.

AA Roadwatch has also mentioned that roads are extremely slippy and motorists should exercise caution at every turn.
