We reported earlier on a bonfire raging up in Theresa Gardens in Dublin 8 – and now we’ve caught sight of another one a few minutes away in Kevin Street.
Equally furious, this one burned at well over 50 feet high at its peak – reaching even the heights of the apartment blocks surrounding the park.
Children as young as three were seen close to the fire, in some instances letting off illegal fireworks, while the party kicked into full swing around the inferno.

Meanwhile, fire units across the city have been targeted by rocks, missiles and other forms of antisocial behaviour – making their impossibly difficult night even worse.
