Brace Yourselves For A Bitterly Cold Week In Dublin

By James Fenton

Just when we thought we were out of the woods, the Dublin weather pulls us back in.

According to Met Éireann, Monday will start with rain throughout the morning which will clear for sunny spells in the afternoon.

Now for the bad news. Tonight will see a 'sharp ground frost' develop with minimum temperatures of one and three degrees.

There will be some hazy sunshine on Tuesday while a foreboding forecast of 'severe frost' has been issued for Ireland on Wednesday.

Wrap up warm, ya hear?
