Cirque Du Soleil Is Coming To Dublin In 2018 And It Looks Spectacular

James Fenton

Cirque Du Soleil is bringing its Ovo show to perform six dates in Dublin in 2018, the Canadian theatrical company has announced.

Taking inspiration from the world of insects and featuring music from Brazil, the show will be presented at the 3 Arena from October 10 to 14 2018 with a total of six performances.

Judging by the trailer for Ovo, it should be a great night’s entertainment.

Creator Deborah Colker says that ‘the idea for Ovo was not to be about the acts, nor dancing, nor insects, but about movement. The movement of life permeates the entire show with creatures flying, leaping, bounding, and crawling.’

Tickets for the shows start at €40.05 and go on sale on Friday December 15 at 9am.
