The “Most Popular” Drug In Trinity College Would Not Be In Your Top Five Guesses

Darragh Berry

It seems to be becoming a worrying factor that drugs and college go hand-in-hand with some students all around Ireland.

Most dabble, but the slight minority get hooked into selling and sometimes it’s not even by their choice.

That’s what happened ‘Mike’ who told Trinity News in an in-depth interview that he dealt for an entire year in order to feed his smoking habit.

He admitted that his dealer had about 150 clients who he would now be serving and he sold various drugs from MDMA to LSD to weed.

He admitted to not selling coke, meth or heroin as that “shit ruins lives” but did surprisingly admit that there was one big hitter at Trinity – Adderall.

“It’s usually people with ADHD and stuff selling their personal supply. It’s very big in Trinity.”

Adderall is a Central Nervous System stimulant. It works by increasing the availability of the neurotransmitters norepinephrine and dopamine in your CNS connections.

Basically, it makes you super concentrated and helps speed up brain activity.

He also said that: “Caffeine is useful, but alcohol is evil, nicotine is evil, cannabis is great in some respects.”
