So, if you didn’t hear, this is what happened yesterday but everyone and their mother knows the story by now.

But if you don’t basically: This man ran onto the runway to try and catch the plane that he had missed to Amsterdam from Dublin Airport, was arrested and brought to court where he flashed his arse at photographers and journalists outside.

The Wexford man, who was trying to get on a flight to Amsterdam, allegedly broke through the door and ran on to the tarmac in an attempt to get on the plane after the gate was closed.

The 23-year-old named Patrick Kehoe was charged with criminal damage to a door at Dublin Airport.

Now, a recording released by Dublin Aviation shows the conversation between the Ryanair Pilot and Air Traffic Control as the man approached the tarmac.

“There is a passenger here that is trying to get inside the airplane,” says the pilot before adding “I think you have to call security now”.

Absolutely you do sir.

The matter seemed to be dealt with extremely quickly according to the tape and Dublin Aviation even joked at the end that he must have really wanted to go to Amsterdam.
