We love seeing a new flight service coming to the capital and although this isn't an obscure destination that isn't being served in Ireland already, we're still happy to find out that it will soon be on a departure board in Dublin Airport.
TAP Air Portugal which is Portugal's national airline has began the sales on flights to three new destinations.
The destinations will begin operations in April 2019 with people being able to fly to Lisbon from Tel Aviv, Dublin and Basel.
These are the first of several new routes from the airline that will launch next year.
The national airline will offer two flights a day to and from Dublin, departing from Lisbon at 07:05am and 2:00pm and arriving in the capital of Ireland at 9:50am and 3:45pm.
Those flights will depart from Dublin at 10.30am. and 5.30pm, arriving at Humberto Delgado Airport at 1:15 p.m. and 8:10 p.m.
The route will be operated on A319 and A320 aircraft which has a capacity for 144 or 168 passengers.
With the launch of these three new routes, TAP will now fly to a total of 91 airports in 88 cities in 36 countries.
Antonoaldo Neves, CEO of TAP, said that the Dublin flight "is another step in the path of strong strategic growth that the company has been going through in recent years and will continue to develop."
