The Transport Minister Shane Ross has revealed plans to change up Dublin Bus – and soon.
The plans include changes to the buses themselves, how you pay, bus stops and cycle lanes.

According to the Journal, these plans are hoping to reduce Dublin’s traffic problem – something we all know too well.
The Minister said that the frequency and numbers of buses must be increased.
He also said that cycle infrastructure needs to be improved and wants to focus on making cycle-friendly roads by increasing bike lanes and general infrastructure.
Bus fares were mentioned, and it’s believed cashless transactions are going to be the new norm with these new plans.
It’s believed that the NTA will work with both local authorities and the public on the new branding.
The plans are set to published next month.
