A man is facing trial over the alleged theft of a box Cadbury Creme Eggs worth €3.
The Dublin man (41) has pleaded not guilty to stealing the box of eggs from Lidl on Moore Street on March 9.
The presiding adjourned the case for trial July before the non-jury court and the defendant was remanded on continuing bail.
He said, "You couldn't make this stuff up."
