Our face everytime we see another advertisement for Christmas in FECKING AUGUST.
We’re just about over the fact Brown Thomas opened their Christmas shop months before December and now we’ve been hit with the news that the Christmas sweets are here and they’ve come in numbers.
You’ve got to be joking. pic.twitter.com/BQh6iEONqt

Someone just sent me a picture of boxes of Christmas Hero sweets in Dunnes … its August ????????????#crazy #notchristmas

The picture is allegedly from Dunnes Stores and nope, sorry, we’re not okay with this.
Are we just skipping Halloween completely now? Surely can we not throw some Dublin jerseys on sale to fill the gaps in the shelves instead of Christmas merchandise?
Madness.
The reason Brown Thomas start their Christmas celebration so early is because it proves really popular with their customers.
“A lot of people like to get organised early – from interior designers sourcing special pieces to tourists looking to bring home something extraordinary – it satisfies customer demand.”
Anyone who plays a Christmas song before the first day of December is dead to us.
DEAD. TO. US.
