If you’re familiar with Camden Street, you’ve probably walked past a shop front with stunning stained glass windows over the past few months.
I’ve even curiously looked through the foggy windows, wondering what would be going in there…
So I’m happy to report that a new café restaurant called ‘DeSelby’s’ has taken over the delightful space, just two doors down from Flannery’s.
Peter Sweeney, previously of Lock 6 Coffee, is one the entrepreneurs behind the project.
With a chef on the team who spent a number of years in Spain, you can expect authentic Mediterranean style cooking in an informal setting.
Some of their sandwiches are served on Mediterranean flatbreads, and are available for eat in or takeaway.
The lads opened their doors from 8am yesterday, serving Roasted Brown coffee as well as salads and sambos, which are all under a tenner.
In the coming weeks, the restaurant will open in the evenings for secret dining events which will consist of 6-8 course dinners with wine pairings.
It seems like a cool new venture, and we’re very excited to head down and try out their grub for lunch this week!
Check out the DeSelby’s specials for this week below, which were posted on their Facebook page.
