Nothing better than a new arrival to Dublin’s foodie scene.
And today’s one?
Fallon & Byrne’s delightful Spring menu:
We’re huge fans of Fallon & Byrne’s food hall and café on Exchequer. Sure, a morning wouldn’t be complete without an Americano and sausage roll from it — but their upstairs restaurant is also a Dublin dining staple.
They’ve some beaut offerings — for both lunch and dinner.
So when we laid our eyes on their new Spring menu, well, our hearts did a lil jump.
The two-for-one cocktails in particular have got us v excited.
Available Sundays, Mondays and Tuesdays to get you over that slumpy weekend-end, new weekday struggle.
The new dishes are light and seasonal, as opposed to their heavier winter ones.
Which is exactly what we look for in a menu at this time of the year.
Highlights include gnocchi (<3) with wild garlic, Killary Harbour mussels in Orpen Cider (deadly) and a basil gimlet.
Lunch is served 12pm until 3pm daily, where you can get two courses for a decent €22, otherwise dinner’s from 5.30pm with two courses for €25.95.
Unreal.
