'Home Alone' Will Be Shown On The Big Screen This Friday In Dublin

*puts hands on cheeks and screams*

Christmas is coming up fast and here's a great way to get in the festive spirit: going to see Home Alone on the big screen this Friday night.

Everyone has their Christmas traditions of watching their favourite movies and Home Alone has got to be one of the most beloved.

Are you one of those people who've never seen the flick? Then first off, shame on you. Secondly, this is the perfect opportunity to acquaint yourself (or reacquaint yourself) with Macauley Culkin's Kevin, who finds himself left at home alone when his parents go on holidays for Christmas and forget to bring him. Shit starts to get dicey when two burglars try to break into the house while the parents are away...

Check out the trailer below.

The movie's not all you can expect from the event, cos if you stick around afterwards there'll be a Discotekken Christmas Party with old school disco DJ John Morales providing the tunes.

The screening's being organised by The Pictures, tickets go from €5 and you can buy them here. You can catch Home Alone at The Sugar Club on 8 Lower Leeson Street at 8pm, Friday December 18.

Anyone else sorely tempted?
