One Of The Best Takeaways In Dublin Has Just Closed Down

The Dublin institution that is Leo Burdock’s in Phibsboro has recently shut its doors for good.

Widely regarded as one of the best chippers around, there are six remaining Burdock’s chip shops in Dublin. Speaking about the recent closure, a spokesperson for the chipper told Lovin Dublin,

It is a shame and we will miss being in the Phibsboro branch. It was a long time coming, unfortunately, with the decline in that area.

It’s not all bad news, however, as the spokesperson also revealed that the chipper chain is working on a “new concept”, which will be introduced to their Tallaght branch in November.

No word yet on what this concept might actually be, but you’ll get more on that as we get it.
