Well, have we got news for you.
Spotted by Lovin Dublin reader Jennifer Rott, this ‘Studio Apartment’ for rent on Daft is causing some concern to potential Dublin renters.
Possibly because it’s some sort of wooden shed.
A modern, bright and neat shed, we’ll give it that, but a shed nonetheless.
Located on Wainsfort Road, Terenure, Dublin 6w – this home is a ‘one-bed own hall door studio’ and is not suitable for couples, according to the post.
The advertisement, which you can see here, states:
”Available from 1st September 2017. This is a one bed own hall door studio.
The lease is for one person, not suitable for a couple.
Excellent location in a safe and secure environment and studio has its own private entrance and fitted with alarm. Idea safe and secure place for you student coming to Dublin to study or work from September 2017.
Very quite residential area with easy access to city centre, UCD & Trinity with great bus routes or ideal location to cycle to these locations. Bike can be stored securely at side of studio.
The studio is furnished with all new modern appliance, heating is run off a low cost efficient storage system. Ensuite bathroom with electric power shower. Kitchen with hot plate, oven, kettle, toaster & microwave.
Desk and chair and extra storage can be supplied if required.
Free wifi / bins. Bills: Only Electricity on average €25 per month. Strictly non-smoking.”
Well, good to know it’s non-smoking, anyway.
Perhaps because it’s MADE of WOOD?
All that aside – you, for the low, low price of €850 per month – could potentially be the queen of this timber castle.
