Donnybrook Fair has up until last week been a purely south side foodie paradise with shops in Donnybrook (no surprise there), Baggot Street, Grand Canal, Stillorgan and Greystones.Â
This weekend they opened a shop in Malahide and I have to say it is one of the most stunning foodie shopping experiences I’ve come across in Ireland, even topping the rest of their stores.Â
The only thing that comes close is Fallon and Byrne, but this beats it for the purist foodie shopping experience.Â
Homemade chocolates. Beef ageing in cool rooms right in front of your eyes. Stunning pastries and homemade breads. The best vegetables and fish you’re likely to find and tonnes of great ready meals.
As always with Donnybrook Fair, my only problem when here was how not to empty my bank account completely and give them all my money in one go.
A super addition to a lovely part of Dublin and a must visit for any foodie in the area.
