For those of you who use the M50 to come in today, you’ll be all too aware, but for those not in the know – a bus caught fire on the busy motorway this morning.
The blaze sent smoke across the sky near the M11 merge southbound on the hard shoulder just after 7am this morning.

Emergency services were on the scene shortly after – with reports coming in that the fire has been extinguished just after 8am.
DUBLIN Coach that was on fire at M50/M11 Merge s’bound no longer on fire but remains in hard shoulder. Smoke cleared but care advised.

The bus remains on the hard shoulder, but is now no longer obstructing traffic.
