This Unique Hip Hop Brunch Is Where You Need To Be This Weekend

AmyBell

There’s nothing better than sipping on a Mimosa and tucking into a good meal of a Sunday morning/afternoon, but if we were to make one complaint about brunch in Dublin, it’s that it can be a bit samey.

If you’re a bruncher on the market for something a bit different, there is a brand new slant on brunch taking place this weekend in the city centre and it sounds really interesting.

Chicken ‘n Waffles are hosting their very first ‘Hip Hop Brunch’ in the Odeon bar on Harcourt Street this Saturday, October 14 – the first of its kind on the Dublin scene.

The bar will be transformed into a hip hop venue where guests can enjoy delicious cocktails and brunch along with some live hip hop tunes, “from new skool to old skool and everything in between.”

The event will take place from 12pm – 6pm with brunch served from 12pm until 3pm.

After dining, you can enjoy sets from the likes of DJ Lui Rwego and have a little bop on the dance-floor, fuelled by avo toast and cocktails.

The event is strictly over 18s and you can nab tickets for the brunch on Eventbrite.

Your ticket includes brunch, a complimentary cocktail and music and games for the day.

The early bird ticket costs €27.19 (only available until tomorrow so you would want to be quick!) while afterwards it will cost €32.49.

Who doesn’t love a good feed and a good dance?

Will you be going along?
