All I wanna do at the first sights of sunshine in Dublin is plonk down somewhere with an icy glass of Chardonnay for a few hours.
Of late, that somewhere has been The Exchequer Wine Bar in Ranelagh.
Their ‘Open Air Terrace’ areas in particular.
Not only do they have one of the best wine collections in Dublin, but they also do deadly food and nibbles.
Sure, it wouldn’t be a vino night without a cheeky cheeseboard, would it?
Now that we’ve told you you’re headed there tonight – all you gotta do is choose what wine to have!

Obviously The Exchequer’s bottomless prosecco brunches on legendary.
Everyone and their ma has tried ’em.
And, of course, their enormous roasts are phenomenal.
Their reputation for quality and value also exceed them, greatly.
But I’m telling you, from the bottom of my heart – the real winner here is their Open Air Terrace.
(And no – they’re not paying me to say any of that, I’ve just found my favourite spot and I’m passionate about it – ok?).
It’s just the best place in Dublin to drink wine under the sun…
