Buying This Tasty Lunch Feeds Kids In The Developing World

Alana Laverty

We’re constantly thinking about our next meal.

We can’t help it – we’re food obsessed.

But what if you could enjoy a tasty meal and give back at the same time?

That’s where FEED comes in.

This brand new Irish food start-up wants to help you be your best self.

Their new #ReclaimYourLunch campaign encourage people to take back control of their lunch hour. Stop working through your lunch break, stop mindlessly scrolling through your social feeds – get up, make a tasty lunch, take a real break and give colouring a go.

On the inside of FEED’s packaging, you’ll find a mandala for you to colour in.

Adult colouring is scientifically proven to reduce stress and anxiety, it increases focus so that you can head back to work more chilled.

Win-win.

And not only that – but FEED donate a meal to a child in the developing world for every pot sold.

Together with its charity partner, Mary’s Meals, the company is helping eradicate food poverty across the globe, one pot at a time.

Amazing

FEED’s meals are really delish, too.

The plant-based pots are ready in a mere four minutes. They’re packed with 20g of protein, are high in fibre and are free from gluten, dairy, refined sugar, additives and preservatives.

They were developed by Ballymaloe trained chef, Hilary Quinn, from Dublin Doughnut Co and Bodytonic and registered dietician, Dr. Conor Kerley.

Choose from Lemongrass and Turmeric Curry and their Moroccan Spiced Tagine – we’ve tried ’em both and can assure you of their deliciousness.

Each pot retails for €4.99 and they can be found in Supervalu and some other independent stores.

Go get your FEED on.
