It seems that Smithfield is the place to be this weekend as the fourth instalment of the ‘Hotter Than July‘ music festival is returning to Dublin 7 come July 30.
The festival is being run by Improvised Music Company and Dublin City Council in association with Big Bang Festival of Rhythm.
Oh, and it’s totally free.
The free family friendly event, which is now in its fourth year, is returning back to Smithfield Square on Sunday, July 30.
Everything kicks off at 3pm, with a wide range of music from various acts playing. They’ve got everything from Colombian carnival-punk from festival favourites La Chiva Gantiva to Ga grooves direct from Ghana with Kakatsitsi Master Drummers to Irish-Arabic fusion feat. Palestinian Raed Said and Irish trad elite.
It’s sure to be an incredible day out.
