Commuters across Dublin this morning faced heavy traffic and delays after a total of 10 crashes were dealt with during rush hour.
Gardai had previously warned drivers to use caution when driving today, however poor weather conditions and excess water on roads are believed to have contributed to the incidents.
The first crash occurred on the M50 southbound on the Westlink Bridge, a second at at J5 Finglas, and a third crash happened northbound between J13 Dundrum and J12 Firhouse.
Three further collisions were then dealt with by emergency services along the M1.
The fourth crash of the morning, at 8.20am, happened at Clontarf Road at the junction of Alfie Byrne Road in the bus lane, while a short time later another crash happened on the M50.
The 10th crash of the morning occurred on Camden Street just before Cuffe Street Junction when a truck and a bus collided.
The majority of crashes have been cleared but some delays may still be in place.
