katedemolder

Ever arrived into the city, late and hungry, and wondered if there was anywhere at all you could get a cheap meal that doesn’t involve looking at a Eurosaver menu?

Well you’re in luck – there are plenty of places to get a feed late around midnight in our fair city.

1. Trocadero, 4 St Andrew’s St, Dublin 2

One of the best known restaurants in the capitals for years serving classic tasty food in a lively atmosphere. Trocadero, or Troc to regulars, serves food Monday to Saturday from 5pm with last orders at 12pm.

It has built an impressive reputation by providing loyal dinners over the years with a Fillet Steak with garlic butter to die for.

3. Sin Theatre Bar, 17-19 Sycamore Street, Dublin 2

Bar food served as late as 3am can be found and devoured in Dublin’s Sin Theatre Bar. Regular pub grub is served until midnight and moreish platters can be found from midnight onwards.

And don’t let the fact that it’s in Temple Bar fool you, it somehow isn’t filled to the brim with tourists. With midnight food deals, we’re not sure how either.

4. Elephant & Castle, 8-19 Temple Bar, Dublin 2

Believe it or not, everyone’s favourite chicken wing haunt serves food until 11:30pm all week long.

At this point it should probably be mentioned that it has a huge menu with everything from fresh fish to risotto… but can you even go there and not order the wings?

Is that even legal?
