U2 Wrote This Song For TXFM’s Last Day On Air

Emotions were running high today, both at home and on air, as TXFM had its last ever day.

Between their usual brilliant songs, each presenter took their time to read aloud messages from their longtime fans whose lives they’ve managed to touch over the years.

The DJs were as choked up as you might expect, as were the listeners at home (Lovin Dublin staff included).

One such message of farewell came from none other than U2 themselves, who actually penned and recorded this tribute to the station…
