WATCH: Anti-Trump Protestors Are Gathered On Ha’penny Bridge Right Now

To mark the inauguration of Donal Trump groups of activists have gathered on Ha’penny Bridge to protest against the soon-to-be new President of the United States. 

The event, organised by equality activists and anti-racism groups, kicked off at 10am on the famous bridge and a banner was lowered that reads “Bridges Not Walls” – a movement that has kicked off worldwide in the last 24hours. 

The aim? To send a simple, hopeful and unmistakable message.

“We will build bridges, not walls, to a peaceful and just world rid of oppression and hatred.”
