Woman's Body Discovered In Undergrowth In North Dublin

The discovery was made during a planned search

Gardaí have discovered the body of a woman in Blanchardstown this afternoon. 

Gardaí discovered the remains of a female, yet to be identified, during a planned search by the Divisional search team shortly after 2pm. 

The remains were discovered in an area of undergrowth between Clonsilla Road and Snugborough Road in Blanchardstown. 

The body remains at the scene, which has been preserved, and the State Pathologist and Garda Technical Bureau have been notified.
