Dublin airport has just added another direct route to its growing list of flights – easing global travelling bit by bit.
Qatar Airways are the brains behind the operation time time, as they will begin daily flights from Dublin Airport to the Qatari capital of Doha from June 12.
The Dublin-Doha route is Ireland’s first ever direct air link to the Gulf state of Qatar, and Qatar Airways’ first Irish route. From Doha’s Hamad International Airport, Irish passengers flying with Qatar Airways can connect to more than 150 destinations, including Tokyo, Sydney, Auckland, Bangkok and Beijing.
Dublin Airport Managing Director Vincent Harrison mentioned the team’s delight at adding such a valuable route to their repertoire:
“We’re delighted that Qatar Airways will launch its new daily Dublin-Doha service in June connecting Ireland to Qatar and beyond. Doha is one of eleven new routes at Dublin Airport this year and we are working closely with Qatar Airways to promote this new service.”
