We are dumpling MAD these days.
And while we’re really looking forward to tomorrow’s Lucky Tortoise pop-up in The Hill in Ranelagh…
Another dumpling themed Dublin business has caught our eye.
Behold, triad:
Who: two gals with Hong Kong roots and raging dumpling addictions (like ourselves).
The triad founders grew up in Dublin in the nineties and were devastated by the limited access to the food they knew and loved from their ancestral home, Hong Kong.
While they could always enjoy it from the comfort of their own homes, dining out options were limited.
Fast forward 18 years, both gals have careers in marketing but continued to have this burning, insatiable desire to bring the food of their childhoods to the citizens of Dublin.
From this, triad was born.
What: homemade and handmade, delicious Cantonese fusion-style dumplings.
When: Sundays between 11am and 4pm.
Where: Herbert Park, Ballsbridge, D4.
Over the last two years the founders have spent countless hours perfecting their fillings and dough recipes.
Testing on friends and family, they have long-perfected their menu designed to bridge the gap between east and west, and provide a true taste of Hong Kong in Dublin.
And we’re hooked.
Dumpling menu:
- -Squealing Pig (pork and cabbage)
- -Gangland Chicken (chicken and mango)
- -Violent Veggie (tofu and kimchi)
And the girls have a lot more in store, so watch this space!
Dumplings for days <3
