If you spent the mid-90s shouting "lager, lager, lager" then there's some great news for you today. Forbidden Fruit has announced the first wave of acts for its 2020 edition and among them are Underworld, who are widely regarded as one of the best live dance acts on the planet.
The duo, consisting of Rick Smith and Karl Hyde, are well known for their 1996 global smash
Born Slippy .NUXX, which featured on the soundtrack for
Trainspotting. Before that, they were major players in the 90s underground techno scene and have since gone on to become renowned for their visually pleasing live performances. The boys most recently appeared at Forbidden Fruit in 2016 before headlining the inaugural All Together Now festival two years later.

Along with Underworld, the critically-acclaimed Loyle Carner will also be appearing at Kilmainham over the June Bank Holiday next year, as will Korean singer Park Hye Jin and Fatima Yamaha, an alias of Dutch producer Bas Bron.
As well as the acts, the festival have also announced that next year's Forbidden Fruit will be a two-day festival as opposed to the three-day event it has been in recent years.
