Despite being known primarily as a suburb, Rathgar boasts tonnes of great places to eat and drink, and as a result is a popular destination both in the evenings and at the weekends for locals and non-locals alike.
Our favourite spots for food are Bijou for weekend brunch or dinner, The Organic Supermarket to stock up on healthy treats and The Butler’s Pantry for a posh takeaway dinner and treat when we just can’t be bothered to cook. If you are looking for somewhere new to go for a few drinks, then check out The 108 which the Galway Bay Brewery opened up last year, it sells an incredible collection of craft beers.
Check out our gorgeous photo series of the area below, shot by Derek Kennedy.
If you liked this, then you should check out our photo series of Dun Laoghaire or Howth to get more ideas of where to visit this weekend.
