Payday isn't too far away at this point — thank the babby Jaysus — and that means eating out will soon be a possibility once again!
But where oh where to try next? Well, we've just spotted a new joint that you may want to pay a visit to: Morelands Grill.
This spot has just sprung up on Westmoreland Street and it bills itself as a "chic and contemporary urban restaurant" — that's our favourite kind of restaurant!
Their dishes are made using a Josper grill, which is a combination of charcoal grill and oven that's often found in steak houses, brasseries, and tapas bars.
The eatery's lunch menu boast Morelands Sourdough Club Sandwiches (grilled back bacon, roast turkey, fried egg, crisp lettuce and plum tomato on toasted Bretzel Bakery sourdough loaf, served with fries), Lobster Rolls (fresh lobster, brioche, shredded cos, lemon herb mayo), and Josper-Grilled Dexter Beef Burgers (melted Knockanore oak smoked cheddar, tomato relish, bacon and caramelised onions, served with fries).
Their dinner menu includes the likes of Striploin Steak, Double Cut Lamb Chops and Milk Fed Veal Chop, served with sauces like béarnaise, green peppercorn & brandy, bordelaise or prawn butter.
It looks pretty slick on the inside
And the grub doesn't look half bad either
The restaurant is open for lunch from Monday–Friday, 12-3pm and on Saturday & Sunday, 12.30-3.30pm. Dinner is served Monday–Sunday, 5.45–9.45pm.
You'll find Morelands Grill beside The Westin on Westmoreland Street.

After years of passing through the margins, a station called Cabra might finally be on its way. On June 26, the NTA will supposedly release something on this. At least according to an instagram story from Cllr Feljin Jose posted earlier this week. Pronounced Fel-jin, he is a Green Party councillor for Phibsborough, Glasnevin, Drumcondra, […]

Once upon a time, matcha was a niche import for Japanophiles who owned swords and anime body pillows. Now it’s the emotional support beverage of choice for every Pilates-Ars*d, Sad Girl Lit-reading, Stanley Cup-hoarding, health-optimised submissive in Dublin. Us included. Is it the colour? The health benefits? The aesthetic? The way it makes you feel […]
Sheela-na-Gigs are carvings, mostly stone, mostly medieval, of women displaying their genitals. Part warning, part weapon, part wild feminine energy. We’re talking full squat, vulva wide, ribs showing, boobs drooping, face sometimes skull-like. In a country where women’s bodies were hidden, punished, and moralised for centuries, it’s wild that these figures not only existed but […]
