Here’s Why You Need To Check Out Shoe Lane Coffee On Tara Street

Sarah

We love, love, LOVE when we discover a new place to fuel our caffeine addiction, and Shoe Lane Coffee on central Tara St is hitting alllll the right spots.

Even though it’s been open a little while now, for some reason it seems to have slipped under Dubliner’s radars – and we’re on a mission to change that.

Shoe Lane Coffee is an artisan coffee shop that serves delish single origin coffee from Full Circle, stocks healthy snacks and has seriously cool décor that makes you feel like you’re actually in an old-timey shoe cobblers.

Oh, and they open at 6.30am for all you early-bird commuters.

Here’s a few more reasons why Shoe Lane should be your next espresso stop:

1. They have ‘Disco Friday’s’

This is legit the dream way to start off the best day of the working week.

2. You have a choice of FIVE non-dairy milks

Including Bonsoy soya, a Japanese brand that’s popular in Melbourne because it steams so well and tastes SO much better than other soy milks.

3. Their toilets are a childhood dream come true

We could easily spend a whole morning just sitting here chilling.

4. Their range of pastries is amazing

Treat yo’self <3

5. It’s just moments from a great Liffey view

The city river is pretty stunning when you’ve a flat white in hand.

6. The interior is super cosy

Not the hugest of spaces, but nab a wooden bench seat and you’ll be grand.

7. The coffee menu is foolproof

Black or white, long or short? Making tough morning choice easy, and their prices are great.

8. Their flat whites are perfectly made

A necessary staple of any good coffee spot in Dublin these days.

Now let’s just hope this place doesn’t get so crowded that we lose out on the window seat…
