Earlier on today, Maser's Repeal mural on the Project Arts Centre was removed following a series of objections on planning grounds (ahem).

You can see photos of the removal here.

And the response, somewhat unsurprisingly, has been a mixture of digust, anger and defiance – and nowhere was this more apparent than on Twitter.

?Some focused on the sheer hypocrisy of it all...

Neat that we live in a country where you can show pictures of fetuses to children in the street but not create art calling for a referendum.
