An ever-increasing trend in major cities like Dublin is street art around the city.

The art is becoming more and more intrinsic, political and all-around deadly.

We're beginning to see less tags, and more well-thought out pieces that are taking over our city's walls...

And we're loving it.

Here's just a select few of some the brilliant art that is displayed around our city:

1. Stormzy Mural

This insane piece of work is found in Smithfield, and was painted by group Subset.

2. Deer in headlights

We don't know who did this masterpiece, but you definitely don't see these deer in the Phoenix Park.

3. Space Lace

This eery piece was created by Shane Sutton. There's just something about it...

4. Dame on Dame Lane

This gorgeous gal with her blue locks is located on Dame Lane. #HairGoals.

5. Only in Temple Bar

Look at that fella, smoking his pipe, in Temple Bar. I bet he has a few stories he could tell.

6. Red squirrel

This unreal piece is made from waste pieces of metal and rubbish. Amazing.

7. Church Street

This is done by the same group who did the Stormzy mural, and it's just as impressive.

8. Pimlico Butterfly

This will make you wish it was Summer every day.

9. Kids in Temple Bar

Ah would ya look at them, worrying about nature and the like.

10. Bull on Camden Street

This abstract piece of a bull was done by James Early in celebration of Ireland's heritage. Noice.

11. Alri?

This unique Irish saying has now been immortalised in Grand Canal Dock, there forever for tourists to ponder over.

12. Poolbeg's message

Listen to the wall, people. The wall speaks sense.

13. A city garden

This piece is relatively new, created by Maser just outside Arnotts. A lovely pop of colour, so it is.

14. North Wall Quay's bee

This is not the only time this little fella has been found around our fair city, you can spot him in several areas, the cutie.

15. Preach it Portobello

Iconic artist Maser created this inspiring mural in Portobello, and we couldn't love it more.

16. Marriage equality mural

This mural went up to everyone's surprise during the marriage referendum, and it was met with immense praise, thanks to creator Joe Caslin.

17. Repeal the 8th

And finally, this mural that caused a few people to go into a frenzy, but the rest of us cheered Maser on for another iconic piece.

Did we leave any major ones out? Let us know who, or what we missed in the comments!
