Christmas seems to be fast approaching out of nowhere and the days left to buy everyone’s presents are slipping away.
Instead of trying to battle your way through shopping centres, why not get your shopping down in a Christmas market? There are loads of unique Irish hand-crafted items to choose from and you also get the great atmosphere.
Here are five Christmas markets going on in Dublin city this weekend.
1. The Christmas Makers Market
Where: Chocolate Factory Dublin Creative Community, 26 King’s Inn Street
When: Saturday December 17, 11AM-5PM
What: A market of makers, crafters, bakers, growers and designers. There will be over 40 stalls, including a pop up nail bar, vintage items, jewellery, art, beautiful homeware, cakes, trinkets and more.
They will also be doing a food and toy drive for St Vincent De Paul.

2. A Fabulous Christmas Market
Where: The George Bar, 89 South Great Georges St
When: Saturday December 17, 11am-6pm
Lots on offer, including ornaments, jewellery, notebooks, clothes, dog clothes, candles and homemade trinkets. There’s also a full bar, great music, coffee and cakes and a magic show upstairs.

3. Made in Stoneybatter Christmas Market
Where: 53 Arbour Hill
When: Saturday December 17 and Sunday December 18, 11am-5pm
This Christmas market aims to promote and support local Stoneybatter producers and businesses and provide a showcase for their work. You can expect an array of chocolate, flowers, candles, illustrations, organic beauty products, books, clothes, as well as food and drink pop-ups.

4. Christmas at chq
Where: chq building, Custom House Quay
When: Saturday December 17 to Friday December 18, 11am-4pm
An indoor market featuring gorgeous looking sweets, treats, mulled wine, books, pop culture paraphernalia, beauty products, decorations, and more.

5. Ha’penny Christmas Market
Where: The Grand Social, 35 Liffey Street
When: Saturday December 17 to Friday December 18, 12pm-6pm
Have a mulled wine while browsing through 25 stalls, full of beautiful unique gifts, Christmas goodies and stocking fillers.
