5 Easy Watch Netflix Shows To Enjoy When You Get Home From Work Tonight

You deserve some Netflix tonight, with optional chill.

It's cold and dark outside and you've no plans to stray outdoors this evening, but maybe your poor tired brain isn't up to watching something taxing like a documentary and your attention span isn't long enough for a movie right now.

If that's the case, we've drawn up a list of great easy watch shows to binge on as soon as you crash on your couch/bed.

1. Brooklyn Nine-Nine

Starring Saturday Night Live alumnus and one-third of The Lonely Island Andy Samberg, this is a comedic cop show set in a dysfunctional Brooklyn precinct. Think Scrubs, just police instead of doctors.

2. Community

Set in a community college, Community follows Jeff Winger (Joel McHale) on his mission to get a bachelor's degree so he can get his job back. Along the way he forms a study group of misfits including a socially inept film fanatic, a dumb jock, a social activist, a teacher's pet, and a couple of mature students. It's ridiculous, meta and hilarious.

3. It's Always Sunny In Philadelphia

'The Gang' are a group of friends who run an Irish pub in South Philadelphia who constantly land themselves in wacky situations... and there isn't much more to it than that. This show is pretty much the definition of easy watching.

4. Wet Hot American Summer: First Day Of Camp

This show's a prequel to the 2001 movie Wet Hot American Summer, it boasts a cast of celebrities who became massive only after the film's initial release, including Bradley Cooper, Paul Rudd, Amy Poehler and Elizabeth Banks. Well worth a watch, if only to see a bunch of people who are very obviously 40 play 16-year-olds.

5. Sherlock

This just remains really entertaining TV and so damn easy to plop down in front of and enjoy. Can't go too far wrong with a bit of Benedict Cumberbatch as the world's most brilliant/socially clueless detective and Martin Freeman's thrill-seeking sidekick.
