Buying a present for someone can be an incredibly difficult task.
From trying to stay within budget, to finding something that they would actually like, let alone not already have, you can spend yourself traipsing Dublin streets for hours trying to find something.
But not anymore.
We’ve rounded up the perfect list of shops that sell everything and anything, which means you’re sure to get them a gift that they definitely won’t bring back (this time).
1. Jam Art Factory
This is one of my favourite shops in Dublin. They have the greatest collection of hilarious and beautiful prints; of Dublin, and of Ireland. Try leave here with an empty bag, I dare ya.
2. Old World New
This is the place to go to for your little knick-knacks. Each shelf holds something different, so you’ll be surprised at how long you’ll spend in this gorgeous little shop.
3. MakeShop
Okay so technically you’re not buying them a gift, but in this really cool shop/workshop, you get to actually put together gadgets by soldering, sewing, glueing and much more.
4. Tiger
Not that original, granted, but does it ever really fail you?
5. Folkster
If you can drag yourself away from the seriously stunning dresses and shoes, you’ll find an equally gorge homeware and trinket section.
6. Om Diva
If you’re looking for something for a fashionista, you’re sure to get something one of a kind in this vintage vault.
7. MADE
Your one stop shop for all things funky, MADE is a gorge little Irish boutique that’s full of home-grown talent.
8. The Design House
If you want to spend a little bit more and go a bit fancier, head to The Design House for truly unique and beautifully crafted pieces.
You can also take classes here to become your own Gok Wan.
